I am excited to announce my 2020 run for the New York State Assembly, 136th Assembly District, representing Brighton, Irondequoit and parts of Rochester.
Legislative priorities that I will fight for include getting our fair share of State funding for schools, affordable healthcare for all, honest economic development opportunities to create jobs for working families and campaign finance reform.
As the former president of the Rochester chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW), I lobbied for women’s rights including the passage of the Women’s Equality Act. I am a strong advocate for women’s right to choose and make their own health care decisions, for equal pay for women, racial equality, economic justice and the fight to eradicate domestic violence.
I will continue to be a champion for legislation supporting the rights of LGBTQ and other underrepresented communities.
It’s time for me to bring my fight to Albany. I will provide strong leadership for real results. I ask for your support.
